Pro Tools First

Need some help here, I've installed Pro tools first however when I try to open a new project, I get this error message.

- Could not create a new document because permission denied (13) while creating "Project Cache" while creating "BeyjvGk5ffTISp3v_mnvLb" while creating "BZCr7rBWjDSMjnsPxfhBca.ptproject"


I found a related forum post: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=364624&page=2 . And I followed one of the suggestions given there, referring to this article: http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/...s-preferences/

But nothing has changed, I'm still getting permission denied (13)
