Artist series and cubase 7.5

Hey All

I have the Mc Control V2
2x artist mixes
1 artist control

works very well with cubase 7.5 but i want to go beyond the basic stuff i use. i use faders, transport, mute, solo etc

is there anywhere there is an actual indepth video or manual on this series and cubase that is current?

if so can you point me to it, i cant find anything anywhere except the old setup cubase videos from euphonix

This has been suggested/requested on the Cubase forum from time to time as there is no comprehensive Steinberg document on Eucon. I have collected my own informal 'cheat sheet' from postings where users have discovered novel or interesting features and functions. Let me know if you would like a link to this information. It is not as deep as what you are seeking but it may help a little.

I have been surprised on how little there is out there on "how to" videos and such.
I use Cubase/Nuendo as well.
I have been wanting to do some "how to" videos and post to youtube on some of the programming I have done with the artist series. Maybe it will help someone else.

Here is a link to my 'notes' (a somewhat generous term). It is really just an collection of posts containing how-tos and some troubleshooting... It is poorly organized and the only search mechanism is using browser search. The Eucon notes are at the bottom of the page (search for the word 'forum'). I would like to augment this with whatever discoveries people have made so please post whatever you can.

Ok I made my first tutorial video on how to program MC Control to open Instrument Track preset dialog box, type a name in the search field for you, select the search results,then open it.

It's correct - there's only very few tutor vids on the net, which explains the programming of the soft buttons.

If I notice, that a function within Cubase is used very often, I create a macro and allocate it to a softbutton.
But true, could be made in EUCON as well.

One thing I did not bother to explain in the video is, there already is a Eucon Command to "Add track using Track Preset", so you don't have to assign a key command within Cubase to assign it to a soft button or touch screen button.
The problem is, if you want to have a string of commands executed with one button push, for whatever reason it does not work if you have Eucon command in there, it has to be all key commands.
