Markers the same when I change Meter???

Hi,

Very frustrated, For some reason when I built this tempo map for a session I had a section of 4/4 time with 8 bar markers but somethings have changed and now the markers only measure 8 bars as if its 3/4 time. My question is how can I change 3/4 meter to 4/4 but maintain the same measure 8 measure differences between markers? Sorry if I worded this vaguely, its late and I'm tired.
