Mix core and farm cards pci ?

What is the prefered pci voltage that will run these cards on a pc. My Tyan Tiger MPX dual processor motherboard has pci slots that are 5.0 volts. Will this work or does it have to be 3.3 volts?????Will it fry my cards if i place them on this motherboard?? I have a mac quicksilver 733mhz with 1.25gb of ram, but my tyan has 3 gigs of ram and is much faster. should i stay with mac or switch to the pc tyan board??????Thanks in advanced, TONY

Try emailing tech support, or maybe download the manual (Tech Docs).

Also, note that 1.2Gb of ram is plenty to run a Mix system (was spec'ed for 512, with >=1gb recommended). Check the compatibility link above and make sure that your TYAN computer is compatible (chipsets, etc).

I use a mac 733mhz quicksilver but i can only get it up to 16 tracks and then it starts bogging down and ive only used maybe 6 rtas plugs and it has 1.25 gigs of ram....i need to upgrade to a faster mac or if someone could please tell me if the cards will work in a pci slot that runs at 5.0 volts then i could use a much faster pc motherboard with 3 gigs of ram...

You wont have a problem with the voltage, they are made for both platforms...

However when we tried it one of the older mix cards wasn't compatable with winXP other than that it all worked great...
