Default audio device buffer underflowed?? HELP!

i just bought a new digirack, and i am on a deadline thats coming up in 2 days.

i tried to record one midi and audio track to pro tools, and i get this error: the audio device buffer underflowed(-6085)

now i know my firewire drive is supported because its got the oxford chipset and worked with my digi 001 just fine.
i checked my mac out, and it is also supported on the digi site (dual 867MHz G4 OS x.3.7)

I decreased my H/W buffer size like it told me to, and I still cannot record one single stereo track!

please help me! i cannot figure out what i might be doing wrong. and i've got a deadline in less than 2 days.

i found the solution, just check out the post in post production.
it seems that even though my computer is supported, getting a firewire card solves the problem.

thanks
