Dbm pro audio in nyc. They are the worst. I'll explained my problem, the took it in and they refuse to fix it after taking my $125 deposit. Wasted months of my time. Then they told me to try a place in California who also never returned my calls. I can replace the board myself, but no one can just get it for me. Please help

Hi, we've been having a similar problem with a broken c24. Absolutely no audio in or out but still have complete control over pro tools, i.e play/record functions work, V.U's jumping when an old session is loaded and all buttons function as intended, just no audio. This leaves us to believe the audio chain is broken. We've tried contacting a couple of avid accredited service centers here in the UK only to be told to put it on a pallet and send it to them. No help as to what could be causing the problem or any reply other than send it to us. We have an electrical engineer more than capable of replacing most parts if we could just source the parts. We are a small independent studio with not a lot of cash so palleting up and sending it away is not really an option.
Any help with this would be much appreciated as at the moment it's just an expensive mouse.

I know this isn't much help for your situation, but.... screw the audio path in the C/24. Get a monitor controller and don't use the C/24s monitoring path because it stinks anyways. Mine started to get a white noise hash on it. Maybe you could borrow a monitor controller to make sure that is indeed the issue. Otherwise it might be cabling going to the C/24.
