7.2 automation errors

when automating pan and volume in 7.2 the write pass sounds correct, then on playback the pans are going to the wrong speakers and the volume will jump up by the way this is intermitent. re-launch PT's and all is fine again. The session is only 150 tracks wide.
The automation by the way is being controlled by the ICON...but it happens when i use the trackball as well...I've thrown away all prefs and databases, last night i re-installed the system and pt's came in early this morning the same thing is happening.
This is very fun for the clients watching us quit and re-launce 20 times a day.

Thats pretty serious have you done any auto as a test without the Icon (unlikely I know if you have one) just to make sure its dcontrol specific.

Would be interested as I use Icon and non Icon mixing methods + thats just pretty serious and needs a cs fix urgently if it is !!!

I haven't tried it stand alone but i have tried to automate with the kensington trackball....same errors
maybe due to the session size but i doubt it its only 6 mb
