Default Audio Dropouts in PT 8

I finally upgraded to PT 8 this week. I've been using PT 7.4. I've been opening up my old sessions from 7.4 into PT 8.4 and all the sessions open up at the default 120 BPM and I have audio dropouts randomly during playback. Maybe this happens 3 or 4 times during a 3 minute song. What am I missing? In my playback engine I have the hardware buffer at 2048 samples. I have 8 processors chugging along.

Thanks in advance
