Default Mbox 3 USB Makes Strange Crackle noise from the left output when adjusting the volume

its really annoying! (and its brand new!).. i have read that other users have experience the same problem as well so I'm not in a hurry to replace it.. i have tried to connect different speaker and cable to the left output and i get the same result, so its defiantly the output.
it seems that if i "play" with the volume knob for a bit the crackle get lower. also when connecting and disconnecting the left output the crackle gets lower.
anyways.. I've been wondering if anyone found a solution for that problem?!
maybe air spray the connectors?

thanks

nati
