Default Setting up 1st Audio Interface

G'day everyone,
I'm currently setting up Pro Tools with my Steinberg UR44 that I just bought (I figured it was a decent choice at $300 for someone new like me, and It has a good selection of Inputs ad outputs). I've installed the drivers from the CD and have it hooked up with the USB. I have my keyboard hooked up to it with MIDI, and headphones in the phones jack. I also have a line out from the keyboard to a line in on the UR44 so I only need 1 pair of headphones to both listen to the computer, which I can, and the keyboard, which for some reason I cannot.

Am I missing something with the keyboard? If I plug it into the mic input directly on my computer I can hear it in PT, but not when its hooked up to the interface.

As far as Pro Tools go, I'm fairly new to this, so I may be missing stuff:
I have the UR44 driver set as my playback engine
I have mapped the input for the keyboard (inputs 5/6 like I have it plugged in)
PT by default maps a default Input, but Im not sure where it comes from (like the computer or one of the other inputs, I haven't been able to figure it out)
The default output is set to the headphones, which works,
I have mapped the "main out" on the UR44 to go to my speakers, which works

Again though, I cannot seem to be able to get the keyboard to work with PT. How do I set it up so that I can:
A-Record MIDI data from playing the keyboard
B-playback through the keyboard/use it as a virtual instrument

Im really stumped right now, i'm sure it's probably something simple but I can't seem to figure it out
Any help you guys have Is greatly appreciated

Hold the N key while opening Pro Tools. That will bring up the Audio Engine window. Select the interface you want to use(the UR44). If it allows selection, then go to(in Pro Tools) Setup>IO and go to the input tab AND the output tab and click on DEFAULT on both pages.

*face palm* Thank You! That was it, it still had the I/O settings from when I didn't have an interface, so that's probably why it wasn't working. I knew it was something simple, I just couldn't put my finger on it. Everything works now, Thank you so much!
