System Usage: Memory sitting on 40-60% in empty session?
Hey everyone,
Just wondering is this normal? My Pro Tools will crash every now and again and i'll need to trash preferences in order to have it open any sessions again - I'm trying to get to the cause and I notice that my Memory percentage in System Usage in an empty session alone is anywhere from 30-60% I have a HDX, HD I/O, Mac Pro 2*2.66 6-Core Xeon with 12GB Ram (I've ordered another 32 now). Is this normal or is there perhaps something easy that I've overlooked? Thanks for any help! |
