Question help requiired with signal flow

i'm new to d recording scene.the following are the list of equipments for one of my projects but i'm a bit confused with d signal flow
Pre amps: 2 x API 3124+, A designs pacifica, daking mic pre IV
compressor: presonus acp 88, la-2a
fx: yamaha spx2000
interface:hd i/o 16x16 analog
card: hd native
control surface: mackie mcu pro
headphone amp: art headamp 6 pro
monitors: genelec 8050A
mon controller: tc electronic level pilot

i wanted help with d signal flow in which i can use d outboard gear during d mix stage with protools 9.

please provide as much detail as possible.
thank you for anyone willing to respond to this post.

It's almost too simple to need explanation. Plug equipment into analog I/O. Instanciate analog I/O insert. Watch levels: usually -18 dBFS = 0 dBVU. The only thing in that list that I could see being used as a mixing insert is the LA-2A. The Yamaha SPX could be used in send/return fashion. That's it. You're not going to mix through mic pres, however delicious.

Well said. Try to think of your audio signal as water that flows from place to place(preamp to 192, to Pro Tools session, and back out thru 192 to monitor controller......)
