Interesting, I haven't tried it with my Bluetooth keyboard off but I never have wifi on ... I'll do a test later without the keyboard and see what that brings

I also did a reset on the NVRAM during the boot up, that and the disable of WF and BT seems to have helped, might even be faster now.

at boot hold down opt+cmd+P+R, you'll hear the bell sound, it will restart, let go at the second bell sound

I would too like to know why .. all settings are the same in both OS's .. as i am reading the other posts i started thinking that since the PT/Control came out and has needed Wi-Fi to work that maybe EuCon gets hung up while looking for PT/Control devices ..

next time i boot into El Cap i will try it with Wi-Fi off .. but when i am in Mavericks i always turn the Wi-Fi off ..

Quick update.
Did a couple more cold startup tests, seems that as long as WiFi is disabled at boot, EuControl loads in +-20 sec.
Having Bluetooth enabled at boot does not seem to effect it.
Having WiFi enabled at boot has EuControl taking up to 2.5 min.

Writing a sticky note to remind myself to be sure WiFi is off when I shut down.

I'm running Mavericks with the latest Eucon software and the new iPad app aND so far it's not glitching out..protools 12.5 HD Native

Seems that 3.4 has resolved this issue for me.
