Default 8.0.3cs1

Nice...

How come they didn't address the bouncing core midi folder on the dock or the reason incompatibility with 002. Guess I'm still stuck on 8.0.1 and Leopard.

Guess you can't please everyone!

I'm sure they are working on it. They had to fix the issues with their own products first.

From what I remember, the core midi folder only bounced after the first PT start, after installing.. I haven't seen it bouncing at any other time..

Somehow it seems to me that overally pro tools is more vurnerable with this update.
I see more spinning beach ball than before.
And after install, I trashed prefs, etc., so don't know why I am experiencing this.

// working fine .0.3 as been great :: thanks digi/avid.
For the first time users don't forget to do an erase your mac drive before a clean install of 10.6 it makes the world of differences and don't delete the eleven prefspanel even if you don't use!!
This seems to create constant searching and bad diagnostic in the console utility.

The problems with coremidi and Reason with Core Audio are still being worked on and are definitely high priority. The other fixes were done, so we rolled them out instead of waiting for these.
