I'd want to use this for Live Tracking and for Drum Edit and Song pocketing... SO not many Effects.. Maybe some VI's and BFD. I got this laptop for $150 from someone off the street the other day that need to pay bills. so they claim. I know i will need to get a Firewire PCI-E Slot card for my Digi002r.. I'm suspecting this might be faster then my Athlong X2 4400+

Externals must be firewire, must have an approved (oxford) chipset, and an approved (TI) FW controller.
