Here's the link

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4279

It's not very clear, but you can't have two single-link's coming off the mini display ports. The Apple adapters are all DVI-D (the horizontal pin without the four little pins around it). I can't promise your setup will work (mine's not working yet)/

I think your off http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FileVI_Connector_Types.svg

I think you need to swap your DVI-I cables for DVI-D cables

I have a client sitting around waiting for all this to get figured out so we can buy a rig - if you're saying the 8-core Westemere is working then you may have finally ended our weeks of waiting. Any further info you can give on what you're using would be most helpful.
Yes I boot in 32 bit mode..... The UAD card won't even show up if I don't. Yo Slim are you a intern? Because I am looking for one right now. Let me know

Here's a good summary of the 3-display options.

I guess, but am not sure, that you could use any two monitors with Displayport connection and one with dvi / hdmi. Mini displayport should be just another connector for the displayport standard.

Just reasoning, no experience yet.

Hi JMDNYC

Just curious about your three SSD drives in your Westmere there if you have a sec? Have not seen anyone do that yet. Cool.
Are they stock Apple ones or OWC or what?
Are you running VI:s or just want snappiness from the system?
Happy? Working?

By the way, my new machine has three SSD drives, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes, too.

The system drive is the Apple SSD so as not to void the warranty. The other two are OWC 240GB. They are amazingly small and need an adapter tray to fit in the slot. I haven't really tested it yet as I just got it last Thursday and am now on vacation for a week. I'll post some data later after testing. I do run lots of VI's in Vienna Pro.

But who's running it with the Magma PCIx to PCIe chassis?
