Otherwise it's probly average speeds like the other ISPs, TWC, AT&T, Comcast, Charter etc. They only run fiber to your neighborhood and then it's copper downstream from there. Sad thing is I've been told by Verizon people that they are not rolling out any more fiber and in fact they're selling off alot of their wired holdings to Frontier Communications in much of the US...it's up to Google now.
I have fibre to the network interface connection at my house with the conversion to coax done inside that box. Verizon's been doing that at least here in NJ where I live. Comcast on the other hand is all wire (coax hardline) with no optical.

I would much prefer that Avid take their time ironing out bugs, instead of prematurely releasing cloud collaboration.

I'd love that cloud collaboration could be used outside the "cloud", by intranet.

Ex:

We have 11 audio post rooms, 3 to 4 rooms by project.

They could see and update each part of the project when it needed.

1 room - edit dialog and premix
2 room - bg, fx and premix
3 room - music editor and premix
4 room - final mix

:)

but that is just me.

Conceptually, that's the inverse of Satellite. It seems like a good idea for post houses.
