Default Mic Question Blue Ball

I own a Blue Baby Bottle mic that I love as a cab and vocal mic. I use it in an Isolation cab as a guitar mic, and have to remove it and set it up for vocals all the time. My question is whether or not anyone has used the Blue "The Ball" mics (The ones that look like a tennis ball)? I am thinking of taking my Baby Bottle out just for vocals and buying one of these for inside the iso cab, it is supposably designed for high pressure situations such as cab micing. Here are the details

They reviewed it in Audio Technology mag here in Australia.
The reviewer said that it's a decent mic, but nothing special. Not up to Blue's usual standard. He said the only advantage he could see over other large dynamics is that it looks funky and could inspire creativity. But if you are going to lock yours away in an ISO cab then that advantage goes.
So you might be better off looking for something like a used EV RE38N/D.
But this is only one review and I haven't actually used one myself.
Good luck.

You might want to try the Sennheiser E609 Silver, $99 everywhere.
