my current workaround is to consolidate the audio files, then immediately turn off Elastic Audio, that way there's nothing for EA to render, so it just turns off no problem.. you can consolidate all files together so it's not a waste of time, but then you have to do all your crossfades etc before consolidating, as that action will make one complete file instead of keeping all your slices

Hi howie300 and thanks for your post. This is another work a round but why are we still having to do this? Since no one else has chimed in, I assume that this problem is not very wide spread. Thanks again and if I find out anything different I will post it.
