Default Locating the time location of a region in its parent?

Hi folks-

I made a stupid mistake in my editing, and now I have a whole track that contains lots of regions from the wrong playlists. For many regions, I can just flip through and find the correct playlist visually, but only if the audio was not moved from its spot in the original timeline. Unfortunately a handful of regions were moved in the timeline, so it becomes difficult.

I can tell which playlist the incorrect region came from, and which playlist the correct region should have come from, but I can't find the exact time location that it came from in its original playlist/parent audio. If anyone has any helpful tips on that I would be most grateful.

thanks

I probably do not know your exact problem, but can´t you :
in the playlist, where the incorrect clip came from - check each clip with spot mode that the actual start is the same as the original time stamp,
and if not : correct it back to the original time stamp ?

(The moving in the timeline, was that done with the clip still in the playlist or after copying/moving it to the track that contains lots of regions from the wrong playlist ?)
