Upgrading options
Hi - I haven't touched my 002R in quite a while, and was looking to possibly upgrade both hardware & software.
I'm planning on getting a new Macbook Pro and upgrade from PT9 to 12, and saw that the 002R is no longer officially supported - can anyone advise on the best hardware to upgrade to? I see the MBox line still has Firewire connections - are there no consumer level hardware options using Thunderbolt? I also have a 1st gen iLok - do I need to upgrade to a v2, or am I ok with the gen 1? I was getting 16 tracks in with the 002R & an external digital 8 track source - it was working great & I'd like to keep roughly the same set up. Thanks
