Default Can't start PT 10.3.3 "DSP requires the DSP Mixer plug-in"

Hi,

Protools 10.3.3 crashes when it starts loading DAE objects.

Error reads - "Pro Tools with DSP requires the DSP Mixer plug-in in the plug-ins folder"

I have an HDX card...
I do have mixer.aax in the plug-ins folder

I deleted prefs and all of that...
I reinstalled PT....

Still no luck... I have a session tomorrow - so of course this happens today....

Anyone else seen this and fixed this??

Thanks....
Steve

Did you do a clean unisntall and install? If nothing else works, may be worth trying try that. or post the file size/version for your aax file for others who have 10.3.3. isntalled to check here.

Hi Fellas,

I did the "n" thing while after logo appeared and engine was built-in line out.
Changed but it still crashed with the same error.

Then I did clean uninstall/reinstall - "n" thing - it was still set to line out - changed to HDX...

SUCCESS!

Thanks for your help!

Whenever i try to connect my protools hd 10 to HDX card "missing DSP requires the DSP Mixer plugins" message pops out while opening to protools. But While i use inbuilt sound card from n method pro tools opens smoothly.
Can anyone help to run protools hd 10 in HDX?
