Transfer PT-11 to new laptop but with no CD drive
I have bought a new laptop which I wish to run my Pro Tools 11 from.
Two queries: 1. How easy is it to transfer the license of my old laptop to the new? 2. How can I install Pro-Tools 11 on my new laptop as it has no CD drive?

Can you move the installer to a flash drive, then from the flash drive to your primary hard drive, and install from there?
Or buy/borrow a usb cd drive. The authorization is on your I-lok, so just plug the I-lok into the new laptop. Done. Last edited by sw rec; 05-01-2017 at 08:32 PM.
