Changing from ASIO to DAE..
Ok, here's my problem..I'm about to take a MOTU 1224/PCI-324 system out of my Mac G4 (1ghz DP), and install a Mix system with ADAT bridge I/O and ESB TDM. I am halfway through an album, and need to do this painlessly, so what should I look out for. Has anyone here already done this? Oh, and I'm on LOGIC 6.1.1 OS9 at the moment and the tracks have audio, EXS24's and softsynths all over them. Plus I have no plans to go OSX yet..Any help?
Thanks Ivan Gough. |

Re: Changing from ASIO to DAE..
i strongly would advise you to wait and do that after your album is done.
You're looking at a lot of work writing down those mixer plug ins, volumes, pans, etc etc -Evan

Re: Changing from ASIO to DAE..
Thanks matey..
Last time I opened one of my tracks on someone else's non ASIO Logic/G4 mac it asked if I wanted to convert from ASIO to DAE from memory. Then I think it converted all the plugs, fx, and stuff straight over. Anyway, anyone else tried this? |
