Default Drives and folders not showing in workspace window

I am new to Pt, and just got an MBox 3 with PT Express. I have watched videos, where a window is opened and it is called the workspace. It shows all the drives attached to the computer. In the video this is where the demonstrator had their loops on various drives. I have loops on my system, but when I open my workspace window it is empty except for a file called catalog. How do I get PT to see my drives (external and internal) so I can grab loops to import into my sessions? Thanks,

Dell i5 laptop
Mbox 3
Win 7
6g ram 500 gig internal and 500 gig external usb 3 drives
