Very very helpful and great vids although long in the tooth hehe but still, so are the Icon's. Things there i never even tried on our D-Control 32ES.

Yeah. I am staying in my Blue 32 till it doesn't work on pro tools anymore. Then get whatever newest Avid controller there is at the time. I know the s6 looks great but i really like the size of the d controls.

Same here. We still love the icon units and regret somewhat the sale of our D-Control making room for an S6. I just feel the older units feel more robust and weel built. The whole setup on the S6 with the screens and external screens just "feel" a bit platicky and not as stable but non the less we are buying one ..

I would hold on to e ICON's as long as you can, works great and feels stable and robust

Thanks so much for the videos Francois!! Very helpful.

Before I got my D-control ES I had been looking a bit on the videos on the Avid site and when I finally had it in the studio and could look for "real" with something to tweek at the same time the videos disappeared, very annoying I must say.

Anyway, now I have them and can get some great tips. Happy times.
