DigiTrans Oddness
Hello Digi,
I have been using PT5.1.3 and DigiTrans 2.0 for a month now with almost perfect success. But last week I could not translate files from our Avid sessions any longer. With a lot of frustration I finally tried using my old Digitrans 1.03 to open the files. This worked fine. The specs from the Edit session are as Follows: Avid media composer 10.6 running Windows 2K, and transfering data via a CDr. I'm using a Mac G3, B+W , OS 9.2.2 What could be going on here? |

Re: DigiTrans Oddness
Hello Paul,
The error I was getting with Digitrans 2.0 was the "too few samples" thing. I would have to point the browser to the exact location of the errant file and the sample thing would come up. I called tech support at your office and gave them the details and they are working on what may be a translation bug on the Avid end. It seems this bug was noticed with Avid Express running on the NT platform but not with Media Composer. Roger Stauss 802-767-4149 |
