Default Windows 10 problem

I have a Dell Inspiron computer originally with Windows 7 and had no Problems accessing Pro Tools Express/Mbox. New that Windows 10 has been automatically installed despite my attempts to delete the invitations, I of course can't access pro Tools, which responds with a "Can't locate hardware" error message. I just updated the iLok registration. Will I need to totally reinstall Pro Tools?

Did you try installing the latest drivers?

If you do NOT want Windows 10, you have 30 days to roll-back.

For those on 7/8 who wish to remain and are tired of the perpetual MS W10 spam to upgrade, I recommend this utility app by Steve Gibson:

Many thanks, I'll check out the link. I'd been warned by others about these "spontaneous" downloads of Windows 10.

Since Windows 10 has "touched" your machine now, you should be able to install it at anytime you wish even after the free period ends in a few months. So keep that in mind if you want to upgrade later on.

No problem. A big thanks to Steve Gibson for writing it and giving it away for free! I also very highly recommend SpinRite 6 by Steve Gibson. It's a hard drive data recovery utility that needs to be in everyone's audio toolbox. There's nothing out there like it.
