Thanks to the guys who replied to my last posting. just a couple of questions ..

1.Is it possible to run two 001s from two separate cards but use one version of Protools so as to get more individual outputs?
2. What's the deal with this smpte timeline thing? If the 001 displays midi timecode (I assume it syncs to mtc )can this not be used as a timing reference for video, maybe not for dialog replacement but for simpler stuff?
Please excuse if my questions seem a little silly but I haven't even used the system yet or a Mac for that matter.
