Default help/advice with metal demo

hello, i'm mixing a band of some friends of mine with my mbox.
i have no experience with metal, so it's not so easy to mix for me, especially because
i'm mixing it at my home on my mbox in a room that's def. not suited for mixing bands.
so, i have made a mix to begin with and are asking for some advice how to proceed.
it is for a 4 song demo. they recorded everything in a small studio nearby and backuped all
the files to disk. i have imported them into my mbox and have to edit them. because of
the budget they like me to mix it also.
i put one song on my website ( under construction )
the internet adres is : http://home.planet.nl/~visse471/music/stiffy.mp3
any advice would be needed and very much apreciated !!
greetings, johan.

I think you've done a great job so far. The bass could use a little bump, but other than that, it sounds great.

Sounds pretty good. I'd hit those vocals with auto tune though.

Souds ok but this is METAL, we needs some loud Guitars. And you could try compressing/limiting the hell out of the vocals too. It will make them sound more aggro and they'll sit in the mix better. I'm only listening to it over my G4 1" speaker but that's a good indicator of what the average person will hear overall. (auratone treatment)

I hear no bass thru that little speaker? might need a little push at 350hz-1k

thanks for the input everybody, i'll translate them into the mix.
i have some little questions although:
what do you mean when the bass needs a thump, does this mean harder or softer ?
( i'm not very good at english ) and do you mean the bass frequencies, or the bass guitar or the bass drum ?
i thought that the guitars were already pretty loud, but i assume they have to be a lot
more upfront in the mix, do they ?
this saturday i'll mix it together with the band. thanks again.
greetings, johan
