Default Application Manager stuck on "Connecting" and/or JREloadError

Well.. with PT12 comes this new nifty Application Manager. It runs in my dock at statup.. when I open it , the account tab shows connecting in and endless loop. The App tab updates fine with version of PT 12 and plug-ins, etc..

When I click on the account tab, it just spins there at connecting.

Anyone else seeing this?

I installed 12 on 2 machines. The first one displayed the accounts tab as expected, while the 2nd had the issue you've described. A few quits and reboots later and it is now fine in both.

My thoughts are they are still working out the bugs with this

For now, I have installed it on the office computer in case there is new info that may be beneficial. On the studio rig... it's off at this time.

I don't doubt that at a point in time this will prove to be advantageous.

Works the same on my rig. Starts up, says I have 1 upgrade and when I click 'Show' it opens to the main Application Manager dialog opened to the Account tab and the spinning thing is spinning and it doesn't stop no matter how hard I hit the keyboard.

Default Application Manager never connects and/or JREloadError

So I got my new PT10 HD - PT 11 HD license. Authorized it, put it on my iLok and went to my account to download it all I had was PT 10.3.10 HD and PT 12 HD, no PT 11 | HD. Whatever, PT 11 HD sucked anyway. After I downloaded and installed all the bits When I first loaded PT 12 HD the application manager came up. The Account tab was whited out and I got the spinning whirly thing forever. So, I shut it down. Opened up Pro Tools 12 and noticed it was PT 11.

Anyway the Application Manager Account tab never shows it's connected, it always has the spinning thing. In the Applications tab it sync's and shows my installs and here's the funny thing... The Application manager says it has an update, but when I click on the update hyperlink it takes me to the Account tab and just like before, the spinning whirly thing is spinning and never connects. It's been this way for almost a week.

Anyone else run into this and have you been able to fix it? I have a solid internet connection and am connected just fine on my network.

P.S. 12 is no better, not snappier, not any more reliable for me. Maybe it's like how your car runs better after you change the oil...
