Uninstalling Avid HD Driver - any benefit?

Is there any benefit to uninstalling the Avid HD Driver if you are not using HD hardware?

I am looking to lighten my load on my computer/CPU.

I just uninstalled Avid Link since I don't use it..

Is there any benefit to uninstalling these or other software components not in use?

You only need Avid HD Driver if you have Avid HD hardware that you want to use with some other DAW than Pro Tools.

Right I know that. So it’s installed by default but looks like it can be uninstalled.

Wondering if makes any sense to uninstall it or any other portions of the program you don’t need like Avid link ?

Many uninstall Avid Link but that comes back with every update so if something is not a problem better leave it as is (otherwise you get yourself a new hobby of getting rid of tgis and that after every update)

I uninstall Cloud Collaboration, but the HD Driver doesn't affect anything. I use CCLeaner to stop Avid Link from starting with Windows and manually start it when I want to check for updates. YMMV.
