Default C24 Monitor section dead

We just hooked up the C24. Everything seems to work fine, (moving faders, level meters on both the tracks as well as the monitor section LEDs.

The only thing is, we can't seem to get any sound coming out of the C24 monitor section, although the monitor lights are all moving to the demo file on the C24.

We've swapped C24 cable, but to no avail. Nothing is soloed or muted. Both the main monitor and sub-monitor knobs are up all the way. All the ProTools and external input sources are selected.

Did a system reset as well. Still nothing. The system is connected to the new PowerMac G4/733.

Any tips or checks that can be done to verify if this is not a faulty unit?

Is the PT Sources Button set to (L/R) (PT1&2)?
Monitor mode set to Stereo?
Harness plugged into the correct D-sub output & using pair 1 & 2 from that harness to your amp?
Lastly, can you monitor off the Aux Outs to your amp? Be sure to press the "Monitor to Aux" button. Hope this is some help.

Stick a pair of headphones in and check that output to see if there is anything there as well. Make sure (if you have a master fader channel in the PT song) that it is up and that the master volume on the C24 is up (OK - pretty obvious but trying to think what it could be) - Good luck

Thanks folks.

Did all that before sending the SOS here. I think the unit's monitoring section has died.
