Virtual Guitarist?

Hi,

I am looking to add some rhythm guitar tracks to my tunes, but I don't play guitar. Steinberg's Virtual Guitarist 2 sounds like what I am looking for, but I can't find anyone who sells it. Any suggestions?

I believe that Steinberg has stopped the production on Virtual Guitarist so there will not be a version 3.
Try to find a used one on e-bay.

Don't know about Steinberg VG but an alternative is probably RealStrat which does the same thing. Haven't used it but I know Soundonsound magazine reviewed it recently. Try searching Timeandspacedotcom.

Thanks, I am checking out Realstrat now. Any other suggestions that would not require a VST wrapper?

I'm not aware of any other but maybe someone else is. The fxpansion wrapper is a worthwhile buy anyway and you should get lots of use out of it. Have a look at kvraudiodotcom to see some of the freeware available. BTW RealStrat got a rave review in http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jan0...brealstrat.htm
