Default PT 7 has odd double cursor on my PC

I am both a Mac and PC user. I installed PT7 on my MAC and everything is working nicely. All functions appear to working wonderfully. (Nice job Digidesign!)

However, I just installed the Windows version on my PC today. The installation went normal and the program is running normally but I have an odd graphics type of problem.

My cursor, now has a doubled, shadow type of second image alongside whatever tool I am using. For example, if I am using the Grabber tool, I have the normal white hand icon for my cursor, however, there is a duplicate black grabber tool exactly beside the white grabber tool. Sort of like a Graphics shadow effect.

I have checked every tool and they all have the doubled icon problem. This, of course, only happens in the Edit Window and not in the Mix window.

Does anyone else experience double cursor problem this? Am I missing something or is it an odd bug?

Thanks,
Wade

Read my instructions to fix this in the XP TDM forum.

Thanks Rail,

Lowering the Acceleration Settings in the Display Properties did fix the double cursor graphics problem that appears in Pro Tools 7.

However, Digidesign should fix this bug as one should not have to use a workaround. I have a powerful Matrox video card and a very fast machine, so I was dissappointed to see the graphics bug.

I do appreciate your help though in offering a workaround.

Thanks again Rail,
Wade
