Default Surround panner center % knob does nothing?

I have mono and stereo signals routed to bed or objects. Either way, if I dial down the center knob to 0%, I still see the center channel meter light up in the dolby renderer same as 100%. (I don't have a speaker setup, so I can't physically check. I hear 0 difference in headphones when adjusting the center knob.)

PT 2023.3, Dolby renderer 5.2

Default Re: Surround panner center % knob does nothing?

I think I figured it out. The track must be sent to the bed in order for center % to have any effect. Objects can't be manipulated that way, even though the object panner still has a center % knob.

Is that right or is there still a problem?
