Can't activate 19.6 on new computer, license is active on my iLok?
So new computer, and attempting to activate 19.6.
I downloaded 19.6 from my AVID account, and installed per usual. When I try to activate, the activator states "If you have an iLok USB device with a license activated on it, please plug it in now". My iLok is already plugged in, and the license shows as active in the iLok Manager. I have have tried de-activating and re-activating on the iLok, but the AVID activator is still not happy. Thanks for any ideas or pointers about what I am doing wrong, db |

Looks like your PT license is on the Cloud and not the ilok. Use ILM to move it to your ilok key and you should be good to go.

Thanks Christopher ... sometimes I am so dim (rolls eyes). I was confused by the iLok asking me to surrender an older license, but once I consented all is now well.
