LE/LOGIC/MTP-AV(USB) crashes....

symptoms:frequent crashes w/no error codes.
when i first got 001 I thought it was
logic/001 issue but I 'm starting to believe it is logic/mtp-av, particulary USB. it seems to happen when I use my keyboard too fast. start, stop etc...any doctors out there?

If you've got OMS 2.3.8 in your system - then that's the most likely cause. I'm about to swap my MTP AV USB for a Unitor since the AV can't work without OMS (unless Emagic pulls off some miracle in the next few weeks!). OMS has always been problematic with Logic.

There is a beta of Freemidi available which has a new OMS USB driver for Motu interfaces - it seems to cure a multitude of sins. The address is available in Mac Protools forum under "USB midi with lots of holes" or something like that!

you know it was down to those two and I choose the mtp-av.. I got the- G3/plat 4.../mtp-av/001/all right when they first came out I have been through it all i hope that all this is going to be cleared up soon I'm so fed up.
lesson : Wait until they iron out the bugs.
