How do I? (It\'s been a while, I forgot.)
This should be an easy one. How do I get my internal Mac CD player to play out of the 888/24 hardware for listening?
I toggled the sound managers output to "digidesign", when that is engaged, the CD player interface will allow me to hit play, but won't roll the song. Is this possible? Thanks for your help g |

Re: How do I? (It\'s been a while, I forgot.)
Do you also have ProTools running?
If so you need to uncheck "Active In Background" in the ProTools menus, or PT will hog the DAE and audio hardware. |

If you are clocking your Digi rig at 48 kHz it won't work either since CD plays at 44.1

Pro Tools is not running at this point. I can't get the internal MAC cd player to start spinning the audio CD once I toggle the sound manager to Digidesign output
any ideas? |
