Unable to locate Hardware Pro Tools 10.3 Express
Hi everyone!
I have Pro Tools Express version 10.3 running on both OS, Win 7 and Win 10.I had an Avid Fast Track Solo interface and everything goes fine. Now, I have a Focusrite 18i8 1st generation, which all the drivers installed. When I'm trying to launch Pro Tools, I get the error: "Unable to locate hardware. Make sure your Hardware is connected and turned on..." I've read other post here and I tried to solve the problem installing Asio4all but it doesn't work. Can anyone help me? I don't know if maybe Pro Tools Express only works with Avid Interfaces. Thanks. |

Re: Unable to locate Hardware Pro Tools 10.3 Express
PT Express will only work with Avid hardware. From Avid Knowledge Base....

Re: Unable to locate Hardware Pro Tools 10.3 Express
The latest version is 2018.4 as versions are now numbered by release year and update month. As to upgrading from Express, I don't have the answer.
