ProTools locked to a Digital Betacam

I was wondering if anybody has been given any grief while trying to lock up to a digital Beta?

I can't insert the audio, it'll start and then just shuttle back and then stop..... I'd like to think im not the only one that this is happening to, although, it probably just me cause everything is broken at this company.....

Any help or suggestions AT ALL would be greatly appreciated!
