Default Using NI Battery 3 with PTLE

Hello all,
I am toying with the thought of getting Battery3.
I own Reason, and I'm quite comfortable with the simplicity of Redrum for getting a basic beat, then fiddling with the MIDI track for variations etc.

With Battery, this does not seem so easy - I would like to have something like the drum map thingie that Cubase apparently has; a sort of "grid editor" where each drum has it's own timeline (velocity sensitive of course) with labels for each sound ("snare", "kick3" etc), so you don't have to edit un-labelled MIDI notes across several octaves...

Is this possible in PT? (7.4) Is there such a thing?

Thanks, and best wishes for the holidays;
Edv!n
