Re: Question About Moving Tempos Around..
Option select in the ruler to select all rulers and tracks. Then cut, and paste 8 bars later. Always save first and dont do it while in play.

Question About Moving Tempos Around..
OK, let's say I have a midi sequence in Pro Tools that hasn't been put to audio yet. The song has a bunch of tempo changes in it. The song starts at bar two.
Now, we come along decide to add an 8 bar intro to this thing. Fine, I select all tracks and use the grid to move the song's start to bar 10 or so, to give us room to add the intro. Oops, now the click is off with everything, because the music has moved but the tempo map hasn't. What can you do to avoid this? |
