Smile Pro Tools 8.0.3 update

Before I download the Pro Tools LE 8.0.3 update, can someone please tell me if I will still need to remove Windows Internet Explorer 8 which will take me back to Explorer 7? It appears that the instructions per your FAQ's do state this. I downloaded the Pro Tools LE 8.0.1, however, after following all the instructions, Pro Tools LE 8.0.1 would not completely load.

Please help!

You shouldn't need to remove IE8, but it depends on which plug-ins you have installed - some of them may require and update to work properly. We don't know which PACE wrapper version some 3rd party plug-ins are using, so we can't say for sure which ones may have problems yet.

I am interested in purchasing some NI plugins and Reason 4. Would you happen to know if those will work with the 8.0.3 update?

Thank you!

Great! Thank you for your help. I am currently using Windows XP Service Pack 3.
I apologize for not explaining very clear. About 3 or 4 month ago, there was an update from 8.0 to 8.0.1. When I downloaded the update, I tried to launch PT's and it stopped on I believe the Structure Free plugin. It just sat there and would not open. I read on the FAQ's that I would have to remove IE8 because there were some problems. So....I just wanted to make sure that this will still not get hung up on that plugin but it appears that there are still some bugs that are being worked on.

I understand that I can go to http://digidesign.com/air for updates.

I hope I can get everything to open up so I can start creating again.

Thank you for your speedy help!!

The authorization code for my 8.0.3 was the same as for 8.0. As far as going back to 8.0 you can, but I wouldn't. 8.0.1 cs1 would also be a good option.
