- change channels outputs / inputs
- switching automation from read to another status (especially from ProControl)
- add a plugin
- add a send
- automation suspension on/off
- modifying the visual arrangement of the tracks/channels
- change show/hide while recording
- I/O setup

Definitely the most important. Would boost creativity and workflow by a factor of ten.

you already can switch from read to other modes on the fly. I do it all the time from my hui. you just can't switch from off to other modes.
