Non PT question - sorry, last resort
Sorry about this all, but I haven't found answers anywhere else so I'm hoping one of you can enlighten me. So, I've moved and have all of my gear in an extra room at my apartment (the only room it will fit in). The room is a perfect square with all parallel walls...just want one wants, right?
There's a HUGE buildup in the room right around 108 hz. A 108 hz wavelength just happens to be the same length as the room dimensions. Therefore, I've got a huge resonant frequency there that makes mixing all but impossible. Does anyone know how to eliminate this? I used Auralex treatment in my old room and it worked well, but that room was a little more condusive to acoustics. It doesn't seem to be working in this case. Any ideas? Keep in mind that I'm already cramped in there as it is. Thanks, bounce |
