How to show ".pts" file type as Pro Tools file?
Mac newbie question- Pro Tools will open a ".pts" file brought from windows LE session; but file type not immediately recognized as Pro Tools file; how to fix?

You have to use ResEdit and change type and creator to PTS and PTul.

The "File Exchange" (or "PC Exchange" in earlier versions of MacOS) control panel is a little friendlier to deal with. You can set it so that whenever a .pts file shows up, it will automatically change the creator and type.
