And IMHO 2020.3 is More stable HERE but with all the different setups out there it is not set in stone it will work for everyone. All our Macs are for AUDIO only so that will have an impact aswell depending on what other apps you have and interface drivers etc. We run 4 of the new Apollo X Series and a HDX2 setup but almost never use the HDX2.

So it all depends. Try 2019.6 and 2019.12 and see what works best for you but I would stay on Mojave and try 2020.3 first before the older versions.
Thanks!
I guess I'll start from PT 2019.5 & macOS 10.14.5 then if it's not stable, I'll try 2019.6 or 2019.12.

For clarification, Mac OS 10.14.6 is the latest version of Mojave.

Best to go to the latest for the security updates etc.

I'm curious. For those doing "serious" work - when did you decide it was safe to upgrade to 10.14.x? Or when did you upgrade to 10.13.x? Walk me through your process of deciding it was safe to move to the Next Big OS Release?

Follow-up: same process for updating to Pro Tools.

Thanks!

Many upgrade to one before OS latest revision once the next one has been out for a while and there are likely no upgrades to the previous (except random security refresh). Meaning at present latest Mojave would be the king.

Clean install of anything is always a good idea
