DSPs are a little more specialized. Analog Devices has yet to top their TigerSHARC (used in Axe Ultra, which has been around for 3-4 years now) which is why Fractal went ahead and just used 2 of them in the Axe II.

That said; bump for an ERXP II

See - http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=327663 where Tony Cariddi (Avid) says "At this time that's the only bass amp emulation available on Eleven Rack."

'At this time ...' - nothing like a bit more speculation and looking for hidden clues in anything posted by Avid staff on the ER forum? :)

"At this time" means absolutely nothing. It's a way of making the listener feel hope without saying, in the least, that there is the possibility of more to come. Just saying "that's the only bass amp on the unit" sounds negative and like you didn't do more and will not being doing more. I just want an INTELLIGENT HARMONIZER in the next Expansion Pack.

well, considering the 11R is serving my needs rather well as an add on for my HD OMNI rig, i'm definitely looking forward to a new expansion pack / bug fix update....

at this point i've given up, and saving money for a new modeller. the 11r has served me well for a year and i'm sure it would do great for another 6 months. more than 80 gigs and 10 recording session and countless hours of home use has gone without problems, so i got my moneys worth

just the lack of a standalone editor is enough do drive me to another platform now. the lack of global eq to adjust to different pa's and monitoring systems is frustrating, i use a small mixer to get around this. then there is all those nice to have things like ir's - for me a 4 x 12 with g12h30's would have covered 50% of my needs.
