Angry I'm really not very happy

As the title says, i bought the crossgrade last night from Avid Store for £209, slightly annoyed as I found the education and training store is no more.
Now today I find that DV247 are selling the boxed version for £169, I know I jumped in early but its what we've been waiting for, but £40 is a lot of money for me and that includes the media set where as i downloaded, can DTS shed any light on this ??

You are right, and this is not the first time when avid store is the most expensive way to purchase something. I really cannot understand why. It should be the cheapest!

Sadly, this is a case of the manufacturer working off either MAP or MSRP, while some dealers are willing to work on a smaller margin. That's a reason why I usually buy from a trusted retailer(where I have spent lots a developed a great relationship Also, consider what retailers would think if Avid(or any manufacturer) was constantly undercut their prices....

Bang on. DV can sell at whatever price they want, even if that means their margin taking a hit, or indeed selling at cost or a loss!

Not Avid's fault. Chalk it up as experience.
